1. Terms of service
Operator. MEME STOCK is operated by [operator legal name to be completed], [business contact address to be completed], [operator country to be completed]. For support, account corrections, complaints, or consumer-rights requests, use the contact form.
Service and eligibility. MEME STOCK provides access to an independent Discord community, weekly stock-selection discussions, and community voting features. It is not a trading platform. You must be at least 18, legally able to enter this contract, and a member of the designated Discord server before buying. You must provide accurate account information, protect your password and devices, and use a Discord account you control.
Account connection. Your website account is linked to the Discord user ID you confirm after authorization. A change to a Discord display name does not change this ID. There is no self-service unlinking, account transfer, or change of website email. Contact support promptly about a mistaken connection or unauthorized access. We do not ask for your Discord password and do not authorize ourselves to operate your personal Discord account.
PLAYER features. Subject to server rules and availability, PLAYER access includes ticker-submission channels, five weekly votes in each of three categories (15 total), live community vote leaderboards, and subscriber-only VIP chat. Submission places, voting windows, and eligible tickers are controlled by the Discord competition system. A membership purchase does not guarantee that a particular ticker will be included or receive votes. It does not reset votes already used in the current round. Only features actually implemented and described at purchase form part of the offer; no unspecified visibility or financial advantage is guaranteed.
Additional votes. Packs contain the stated total number of extra votes, not that number in every category. Extra votes may be used across supported categories and repeatedly on one ticker, during eligible voting rounds. Unused purchased votes do not expire merely because time passes or PLAYER access ends. Packs do not grant PLAYER access. Votes are a limited right to participate in this service, not securities, currency, transferable property, ownership, or a claim to cash. They may not be sold, transferred, redeemed for money, or used to promise financial outcomes.
Ranking transparency. Leaderboards count voting activity and may include several votes from one member and separately purchased votes. They are not polls of unique investors and do not indicate the number of people holding a stock, the quality of an investment, or likely future performance. Website demonstration tickers and counts are explicitly labelled and are not real results. Administrative figures, when displayed, are identified as manually updated.
Acceptable conduct. No account theft, fraud, harassment, illegal content, evasion of server restrictions, payment abuse, manipulation of our software, or unlawful securities promotion is permitted. Do not coordinate pump-and-dump schemes, price manipulation, misleading investment claims, undisclosed paid promotion, or unlawful insider trading. Respect Discord rules and the rights of other participants. Moderation must not be used to avoid mandatory consumer remedies.
Availability and changes. Internet services, Discord, payment processing, and third-party APIs can be interrupted. Access-role updates are automated but are not instantaneous guarantees: network and processing delays may occur. We will investigate access errors reported to support. Material paid-service changes, discontinuation, or loss of already-purchased access must be handled with appropriate notice and any remedies required by law; this policy is not permission to remove purchased value arbitrarily.
Suspension and termination. We may restrict access for legitimate security, legal, payment-abuse, or material rule-violation reasons, subject to applicable law. Subscription renewal is stopped when an administrator suspends an account. Disputed, reversed, or refunded vote purchases may require balance adjustments and review; votes already used may result in an amount requiring reconciliation. Contact support to contest an error.
Intellectual property and third parties. MEME STOCK branding and original website materials may not be copied for misleading or unauthorized commercial use. Participants retain rights to their own content, subject to the permissions reasonably needed to display and moderate it. Discord, Stripe, and company/ticker names belong to their respective owners. No endorsement or affiliation is implied.
Liability and rights. Nothing excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable protections against fraud, misleading practices, gross negligence where relevant, and mandatory consumer remedies. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not warrant investment outcomes or accept responsibility for independent trades you choose to make. Consumer protection and forum rights that apply to your residence remain unaffected. Any jurisdiction-specific governing-law or dispute-resolution clause must be approved for the actual operator before launch; no blanket foreign-forum waiver is imposed here.
2. Membership billing and cancellation
PLAYER costs $39.99 USD every seven days, beginning at the individual purchase time. It is not a monthly plan, a fixed Friday billing cycle, or the same clock as the Discord competition week. Applicable taxes and discounts are shown before the payment is confirmed. There is no free trial in this offer. Coupon eligibility, amount, and duration are shown through checkout.
Automatic renewal starts enabled and requires your express checkout agreement. You authorize recurring charges until renewal is turned off. Use the renewal control in your account at any time before the next scheduled charge. Turning it off does not remove the remainder of the paid period. A successfully paid period ends at the timestamp displayed in your account, not necessarily at the end of a calendar week. Enabling renewal again authorizes the future schedule shown.
No new paid access is granted until a payment succeeds, including when the card is declined, authentication is incomplete, renewal is disabled, or a subscription ends for another reason. There is no unpaid grace period. Payment-provider retries may continue for an outstanding authorized invoice, but retries do not extend access on their own. Contact support about an unintended charge or incorrect access end time.
Vote packs are one-time purchases, not recurring subscriptions. Subscription and extra-vote transactions are recorded separately. Card data is collected and processed by Stripe, not stored by this website. Payment authentication may involve Stripe or your bank. Billing documents may open on a secure Stripe-hosted page.
3. Refund policy and mandatory consumer rights
We do not offer discretionary change-of-mind refunds for membership periods or additional votes. This is not an absolute no-refund rule. It does not exclude statutory withdrawal/cancellation rights, required refunds, remedies for non-supply or non-conformity, duplicate or unauthorized charges, or other mandatory protections.
Where the law requires a withdrawal period, special disclosure, a cancellation mechanism, consent to start a service early, or a valid acknowledgement before a right may be lost, those requirements must be satisfied. A general acceptance checkbox or simply labelling something "digital" does not automatically remove consumer rights. The actual operator must obtain local review and implement any required country-specific withdrawal information or forms before accepting customers in those locations.
Contact us with the account email, purchase reference, and a description of the issue. Do not send card numbers or security codes. Turning off renewal stops future scheduled subscription charges; it is separate from asking for a refund. Refund or dispute adjustments must not silently create extra usable votes. An account deletion request is also separate from a statutory refund request.
4. Privacy notice
Data collected. We store the account email, a one-way password hash, verification status, confirmed Discord ID/name/avatar reference, Stripe customer/subscription/order/invoice identifiers and transaction amounts, access-expiry timestamps, extra-vote balances and ledger entries, account settings, consent records, support messages, and security/audit records. Administrator authentication uses an encrypted authenticator secret. Passwords are not stored in readable form.
Purpose and legal basis. Account, entitlement, and transaction data are used to provide the service and perform the contract. Records may also be processed to comply with tax/accounting or other legal obligations and, where lawful, for legitimate security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, and dispute-handling interests. Marketing is not a condition of purchase and no marketing opt-in is inferred. Necessary user-requested emails include verification, password resets, purchase receipts, payment problems, and membership changes.
Recipients and transfers. Hosting infrastructure stores site data. Stripe processes billing and card information under its own applicable terms and privacy practices. Discord handles the external community and account authorization. The configured email provider delivers service emails. These providers may process data internationally; the operator must verify appropriate contracts and safeguards where required. Data is not sold and no third-party advertising or analytics integration is included in this release.
Security. Measures include hashed passwords, secure-cookie settings, CSRF checks, parameterized database access, short-lived single-use recovery tokens, access controls, administrator two-factor authentication, signed payment/bridge messages, and audit logging. No system can guarantee absolute security. Private configuration files and secrets must remain outside the public web directory and access to hosting must be protected.
Retention and deletion. We keep operational account data while needed to provide and secure the service. A deletion request stops renewal first, then profile data is anonymized after paid access and unresolved financial/vote operations end. Any unused vote balance is closed only after the deletion notice is accepted. Financial identifiers, consent evidence, and records required for law, fraud prevention, or disputes may be retained separately. The operator must document applicable retention periods and implement periodic record/backup purging before production; this code does not promise immediate deletion from legally retained records or backups.
Your rights. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, receive a copy of, restrict, or object to processing of personal data, withdraw consent where relevant, and complain to a competent privacy authority. Identity verification may be needed to protect your account. Use the contact form for these requests, including a correction that self-service controls do not support. We do not use voting history to make automated legal or similarly significant decisions about you.
5. Cookies and local storage
The website uses a first-party session cookie for sign-in, security, and the selected interface language. It does not include advertising trackers, analytics tags, fingerprinting, or social tracking pixels. Stripe's embedded payment components may use their own security and payment-related technologies when checkout is opened. Adding non-essential tracking later requires a fresh review and any consent mechanism and disclosures required by law; none is silently added in this release.
6. Financial and community disclaimer
All site and server content is for general community discussion and entertainment. MEME STOCK is not presenting itself as a licensed investment adviser, broker, dealer, investment manager, or exchange. Neither a membership, a purchased vote, a ticker's inclusion, a message, nor a leaderboard is personalized financial, tax, legal, or investment advice or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold a security.
Participants may be mistaken, biased, paid to promote something, or hold positions in securities they discuss. Relevant conflicts or compensated promotions must be disclosed where required. Small and speculative stocks may be volatile, illiquid, and subject to substantial or total loss. Votes reflect participation, not research quality, market value, fair price, price forecasts, or independently verified consensus.
No performance, return, ranking, profit, protection from loss, cash prize, or investment result is promised. Past information or example results do not establish future outcomes. Perform independent research and obtain appropriate professional advice when needed. Do not treat community enthusiasm as a reason to invest money you cannot afford to lose. These notices do not excuse unlawful conduct by the operator or remove non-waivable responsibilities.
